Mrs Basanti Babel has done her graduation in Arts and to pursue her passion to work with textiles & designs, she upgraded her skill set, by pursuing Fashion designing course from Lisaa Institute of Fashion, Delhi. Eventually she participated in 2 fashion shows and won awards in each of them. She is also professionally trained as a Nursery & Primary School teacher.

Her passion for imparting knowledge to little minds was great and she was the principal of SMART KIDS NUSERY SCHOOL in Delhi for years. She has a deep trust of the power of education and to inspire students to choose the right career path. So, with that objective in mind, she is a counsellor to all the emerging students, who want to Pursue BBA or MBA, in American school of Language. Currently she is the editor for Inner Wheel District, Worlds largest women’s voluntary service organisation.

In between her high-flying career, she makes it a point to dedicate her spare time, in social service. She is associated with Terapanth Mahila Mandal & teaches at an NGO called “Adarsh Vidyamandir”. She is also an active member with Jito Ladies Wing.

Mrs Babel is married to Shri Surendra Babel, founder of Arihant Packing and Gasket Co. It is a family-owned company, with over 50 years of experience in the industry. A renowned name pan India for industrial sealing and insulation products. They have three very successful children Shivam, Rishabh and Ritesh and 2 daughter in laws Tripti and Poorvi. Tripti is the founder of kalakari and handles their branch in Bangalore. Shivam Babel is the founder & managing director of Gasket and Sealing Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Rishabh is the founder at Macer, a brand curated by him to provide world class sealing products. Poorvi is the founder at babeehive, a kids clothing marketplace. And the youngest one Ritesh is a data analyst and is preparing for his MBA.
