Mrs Prem Baid is a talented businesswoman & a director of “Great Eastern Retail Pvt Ltd”.

She has completed her graduation from Maharani College, Jaipur, with a commerce major. As a champion of women’s causes, Prem Ji has always been deeply interested to help the needy. She is associated with Jito Ladies Wing & is a member of Terapanth Mahila Mandal.  She often makes donations to the organisations which focus on child and women welfare.

On the personal front, Prem ji enjoys her spare time with her hobbies, which include Painting, sketching, cooking & artful home décor.

Mrs Baid is married to her long-time partner, Mr Nirmal Baid, who started his business empire as a small electronic shop, opposite Great Eastern Hotel, Dalhousie Kolkata in 1976. He had a dream to build a competitive market for quality home appliances and a variety of other electronic products in Eastern India. The visionary, aided by their two able sons, conquered all paradigms and now owns the Eastern India's Largest Electronic Chain Store, Great Eastern Appliances, evaluated as a 350-crore enterprise with 29 retails across India at present times. This successful & prominent couple are proud parents of Puja & Pulkit Baid.

Pooja Baid is the director and Trustee of Great Eastern Retail Pvt Ltd. She is even the Chief Mentor at Piccadilly Square & Founder of “The Chutney Co”. and “Drumroll”. Pulkit Baid, is the third-generation owner and director of Great Eastern Retail.
